New Hope Cancer Foundation

In Honor, In Tribute and In Memory

What is the New Hope Cancer Foundation?

A foundation started locally to help cancer patients with expenses.

Why was it started?

Cancer treatment is expensive but many have health insurance for those expenses. However, health insurance doesn't cover travel, rooms, loss of time at home or work, etc. These funds can be used however needed by the patient. Qualified applicants will receive funding no matter what cancer or stage of cancer they have. Applicants can get help one time per calendar year.

Who is eligible?

Any cancer patient residing in Campbell, Corson, Dewey, Edmunds, McPherson, Potter and Walworth counties in South Dakota and Emmons County in North Dakota.

Due to the high volume of requests, we can only offer a person a one time application. No more requests can be honored other than that due to limited funds.

How can I get assistance if I am currently battling cancer?

Pick up an application at the Mobridge Tribune, KOLY, the Mobridge Regional Hospital or you can download one from this site and mail it to PO Box 422, Mobridge with documentation required.

What documentation is required?

A copy of your driver's license or current ID card, Pathology report showing your diagnosis, and a signed application either from this page or picked up.
